My column is a forum of general interest items, particularly as they pertain to local government and the use of tax money.Hopefully, it will also be a place for the little guy to speak out.

BACKGROUND

I like to think it's blue collar. I try to work hard and have very little tolerance of those who do not. My grandfather was a truck driver and my father worked in a tobacco plant. It's only by the grace of God that I get to do this for a living.
